IF YOU WANT SILKY STRAIGHT HAIR READ THIS....
OK here's what you do....buy the CONAIR INFINITI Tourmaline straightening hair dryer (it's WONDERFUL) buy the Remington T3 Tourmaline flat iron and buy some Chi Silk Fusion or Biosilk. Wet to silky straight takes about 25 minutes total if you follow this advice. After showering towel dry hair and put the silk drops on your ends (don't use too much---this will take a few tries). Also spray your wet hair with a heat protecting flat iron spray for good measure. Use the hair dryer exactly as intended (it's not hard at all- I don't get the neg reviews). If you have shoulder-length or longer hair it's easiest to put your hair in two ponytails (one behind each ear) and dry the ponytails first using this dryer. Then take them out and dry the rest of your hair with the dryer. Only takes about 10-15 minutes this way (and I have VERY thick curly hair).
Use the Remington T3 Tourmaline flatiron on 410 degrees (don't pull it through too slowly---that's very hot). Then when finished spray a glossing spray on your dry hair and rub it down. FINISHED and your hair will be BEAUTIFUL!! I've gotten soooooo many compliments on my hair since I bought these two pieces of equipment and started straightening this way. I have been SEARCHING for 20 years for an effective way to straighten that doesn't take forever or prevent me from having my morning shower. THIS IS IT PEOPLE. TRY IT!
I did not really believe the reviews on here that this flatiron is better than the 100 dollar ones but oh my goodness THIS IS THE BEST FLATIRON I have ever owned. I will never pay for a Chi or Solia again after using this one. It will straighten anything FAST. Unbelievable I tell you!

Fantastic product!Alas the days of needing to go to a hair stylist - or even needing a comb - are long gone for me. I've been cutting my hair at home for years since I don't see the point in paying someone to cut what little I have left. I've used traditional clippers and they work well but it's almost impossible to cut your own hair using regular clippers - you need someone to help especially on the back of your head.
The Shortcut trimmer solves that problem perfectly. It's no harder to use than a brush. Just adjust the setting to the length you want then move it slowly across your head.
It comes with two types of guides. One is for traditional hair cutting. The other is for shaving your head bald (or very very close). You have to use the correct guide if you expect to get good results. The reviewer who had a problem with this clearly was using the incorrect guide. The manual explains this - always pays to take a minute to read the manual before using a product.
Very easy to clean. The blades are washable (although the unit itself is not) or you can just brush out the hair with the cleaning brush. Not too loud - about the same as a conventional hair clipper.
You get the best results if you cut just a bit at a time. For example if you want to end up with 1/4 inch hair start at the highest setting. After making a few passes dial it down one notch. Repeat until you're at the length you want. Once you have your hair at the length you want you can do a touch-up trim once a week to keep it at that length. Now that I have the hang of it it takes me about 5 min to give myself a haircut.
It also has a trimmer for sideburns and around your ears. It cuts well but it can be a bit unwieldy to use around the ears. I have a smaller trimmer that I use for that. The trimmer on the Shortcut does do a good job on sideburns.
So with the caveat that you need to learn how to use it correctly this is a fantastic product. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly good trimmerI was about to shave my beard off about two months ago having been feed up with keeping it trim. I used a trimmer intended for hair cutting and it did not work well at all especially the incessant hair pulls. I noticed this trimmer on Amazon and its good reviews so I ordered one. I've used it now for the last two months and very pleasantly surprised by the results and ease of use. No more hair pulls and the head never needs lubrication. I especially like the height adjustment mechanism. I've yet needed to recharge it over those two months. I wish it had a charge indicator but nevertheless given the results I highly recommend it and have to rate it 5 stars.
